The highlight of my brief trip to Devon was this warm and deeply chocolately brownie at The Butterleigh Inn in the delightful village of Butterleigh (near Cullompton). It had a spongy consistency, rather than feeling heavy and dense, and served with clotted cream it was heavenly. I had it instead of lunch!
